Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, completely. A lot of my lesson clients are women who are revisiting makeup after years away from it, adjusting their routine as their skin and features have changed, or simply never had the chance to learn properly the first time around. There's no skill level or age where this stops being useful — the goal is always the same: you leave knowing your own face better than when you walked in.

  • Bring what you already own — I'll only suggest something new if it's actually working against you. If you'd rather start fresh, we can also do a Shop With Me session beforehand, then pair it with a lesson to learn how to actually use everything you picked up.

  • I know skin insecurities can make booking something like this feel vulnerable, so I want to be upfront and kind about it: acne and redness — I can absolutely help cover that if it's what you want. Texture is something makeup can soften but can't fully erase, and I'd rather tell you that honestly than have you leave disappointed. I'll also ask about your current skincare routine, not to critique it, but because it genuinely shapes how we get your skin ready — and I'm always happy to suggest adjustments if you want them.

  • Yes — an adult needs to be present, the one exception to my no-guest policy. Or a parent and teen can each book a personalized lesson as a travel duo, splitting a shared 4-hour block however works — teens usually need less time.

  • An appointment is about the look for that day. A lesson is about being able to recreate it yourself afterward.

  • A recap sheet with your exact shades and techniques, samples when available, before-and-after photos (yours to keep private if you'd rather), and my email for any follow-up questions.

  • Through the scheduling portal. A non-refundable $50 deposit holds your spot. The rest of the balance is due the day of the lesson.

  • Cancellations more than 24 hours out get a deposit refund. Within 24 hours or no-shows forfeit the deposit. Future bookings after a no-show require full payment upfront.
