Makeup Artistry
Juan’s passion for makeup developed organically during his college years, beginning with doing makeup for friends for dates, formals, and special moments whenever possible. What started as a creative outlet quickly evolved into a clear calling.
In 2023, he relocated to Charlotte to pursue his esthetician license with the intention of becoming a professional makeup artist. Throughout this period, he remained deeply self-taught—dedicating countless hours to studying masterclasses, professional techniques, and industry education, while consistently refining his craft through hands-on practice with friends and family.
Following esthetician school, Juan became a Licensed Beauty Advisor at Sephora, where he performed hundreds of makeup applications across all ages, skin tones, and makeup preferences. This experience allowed him to refine his technical skill, adaptability, and confidence, ultimately shaping his signature style: polished, refined, and quietly impactful.
Background
Born in Colombia and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, Juan was brought up in a close, deeply supportive family alongside his parents, brother, and sister. That foundation of care, trust, and connection continues to shape his approach to beauty—intentional, thoughtful, and rooted in genuine human connection. Family remains central to his life, and that sense of closeness is reflected in the calm, attentive presence he brings to every client experience.

Juan earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Clemson University in 2022. His academic background provided a strong foundation in professionalism, structure, and long-term vision—elements that now inform the way he approaches beauty as both an art form and a service-driven practice.
